well same old same old!

the thrill and excitement of ushering into a brand new year some how escaped me ( must have went past me while i was looking the other way … hmm.. happens )

Last year was like a roller coaster .. change of cities , change of jobs , change of status , change of life .. change happens so often this side that its become routine.

you know like an oxymoron – routine change 🙂

High points of 2007? in NO Particular order…

the most royal exit one can hope for – leaving hutch gujarat on a winning note.

getting my own place to stay for the first time( referred to as FTFT here on ) ,

my own car to drive (FTFT) ,

getting back in touch with a lot of people i thought i ll never run into ,

starting my own blog ,

exploring a lot of new places / cities and a revisiting some old ones ,

new phone , new laptop , new books , new friends , new movies , new songs , new job , new profile , new way of looking at things (perspective?)

uhh i am sure i am missing out on a lot of things and i would come back and add them later…

but what’s new about the new year?

i have a lot of hopes pinned to the poor lil numeral ‘8’ … coz i still remain strangely superstitious ( a lil harsh term to use , but then thats how it is)

more on this soon…

hey…:) first and foremost, let me wish you calypso style…appy nu eaar..:)!…good to learn that the past year was full of swings for you..maybe the choice of semantics can be refined by bottomlining it as – exciting!..:)..well, but then every year is exciting isnt it? was just thinking about this the other day (ah! i do have a philosophical side you see…ha ha ha..)—-right from the time we start talking, walking, growing up, schooling, college, MICA (YO! YO! – addu effect), job, relationships etc etc (blah blah), every moment of the life has been everchanging, who ever coined the term – life changing encounters, need to realign him/herself with the reality (coz’ for me, every moment is becoming a life changing encounter!) even as we rendezvous with a new year I can prophecize for changes (cant speak for all, but for me definitely – think would apply to all by and large, barring the outliers) there will be changes – job, relationships, friends, foes, cars, monies etc etc…isnt hange becoming the way of life…is this threatening the way ‘change’ is defined, traditionally? food for thought!!..:)
