Day9 Really Moving #100HappyDays #DailyChatter

We did the whole movie-mall family outing deal today after 2 weeks .Interestingly , it turned out to be the perfect tribute to last month as I transitioned into October.

We caught ‘Dhoni-the untold story’ a super-long video documentary on a cricketer that I practically had no interest in so far. With every character only explored at the surface & most female characters playing second fiddle , it was a definite put off. Let’s just say I got to know more about Sushant Singh as an actor , Dhoni’s wikipedia page was more than sufficient for the rest.

Anyhow , I chanced upon this poster and my thoughts took me to Eat Pray Love another movie I’d seen recently. Inspiration is a weird thing. While a sporting icon’s story did nothing to me , a girl who quit everything to travel 3 different countries moved me to picture my life as a version sans the blissful travelling.

So last month was all about indulgence in every sense. ‘Letting go’Β  was how I experienced ‘Eat’- Unhurried , savoring every moment at a leisurely pace. October would be ‘Taking Charge’ – Of myself , my fitness goals and my blog.Β  That would need dedication and focus and giving in completely to my resolve, just like Sadhna or devotion , the ‘Pray’ . I am hoping by November , when I step in the last month of my break from work , I get to figure out what I’d ‘Love’ to do in 2017.

Today marks the meet-cute between #DailyChatter & #100HappyDays as I shareΒ  highpoints of my day as #Prisma pics & leave you with a question.

Have you seen a real life story movie adaptation that has moved you or inspired you? Share your filmy Really Moving story with me maybe?

  1. I liked your interpretation of Eat pray love. I haven’t seen the movie but know the idea behind it. Well, I believe life is all about discovering, losing and rediscovering ourselves again and again πŸ™‚

  2. Didnt watch MSD yet but now after reading your review..not sure if I should watch it or not ..all the best to u for this challenge and congrats on winning Alexa campaign πŸ™‚

  3. I’m a huge fan of Dhoni and so is my Mom. I could watch the movie only a couple of days ago as I was travelling most of the days since its release. Yup. It seemed like an unedited version of his life, but oops. I adore him. πŸ˜€ I’m sure husband shares the same opinion as yours though, for he was yawning throughout the movie.
I don’t know why I haven’t watched Eat, Pray, Love. Guess I wanted to read the book first. So that reminds me, I should buy the book asap. Good luck with all the goals, dear.
